CONNECT is the lead family therapy and counselling training organisation in Zimbabwe, offering long-term distance education courses since 1989 for grassroots workers, as well as more intensive programs for those wishing to specialize in working with families and groups. We will forever be grateful to Tavistock Institute and the British Council for supporting the pioneers of our training programs and capacity building of the tutors. We started off by offering Certificate Courses accredited by The Tavistock Institute until we gained the experience and expertise to now run courses accredited by local examination boards. The course participants include teachers, human resource practitioners, social workers, psychologists, pastors, nurses, medical practitioners, and lawyers, as well as community counsellors and non-professional workers involved in counselling, care work, and assisting people.
